Review

With his laid-back, straightforward vocals and strong songwriting especially with his ballads, Don were immensely popular; in the course of his career, he had a total of 17 number one hits in the US. Now he's back with a new album, eight years since his last one. And wow - this is such a nice soft country-album produced by Don and Garth Fundis.During the '70s, Don became one of the most successful country artist in the world. His country-pop not only crossed over into the American pop mainstream, it also gained him a large following in England and Europe. He was also a songwriter who delivered smashhits to several other artists. And on this album he proofs that he is a pro. All songs on this album sits on big qualities and the duet "I Just Came Here For The Music" with Alison Krauss is pure heaven. If you like soft country which is far away from the modern country scene you will have a huge favorite in this album. Welcome back Don, now - we don't wanna waith another eight years until next one!

Did you know that?

"ALICE COOPER" was originally the name of the entire band, before lead singer Vince Furnier took the name for himself.
