Review

Swedish Royal Republic really surprised me with their debut "We Are The Royal". With a mixture of Danko Jones and The Hives did they find their own style and offered a very even record filled with energetic rock at it's best.

Now they are back with the sequel "Save the Nation" that actually maintains the same high class. In fact, I think that it is very often the sequel is not on par with the debut as bands often have more pressure and less time. However, Royal Republic really found the right formula again and offers a great album like the debut with the witty lyrics and great deal of energy.

And the hits are again here with which is obviously important for the band to reach out in radio. First single "Addicted" is really awesome, but other tracks like "Sailing Man" and the title track "Save the Nation" is of the same high class.

So if you liked her debut as is "Save the Nation" is a must to check out when it is at least as good as the debut.
