Review

Royseven's "We Should Be Lovers" was the most played Irish song on radio in 2011. Can really understand that as it’s a monster song that also would work really well outside the republic. Really love its epic chorus that stuck in your head at once like The Killers when they are most arena rock sounding.

The band that is originated in Dublin, Ireland has released one record before in the competent album The Art of insincerity that came out on Universal in 2006. However, they are now signed to Roadrunner with this album that I think is slightly better than the debut with more songs with potential. Songs like "Dance" and "Killer" really feels luxurious and elegant and it really feels like the band has something big going on. If it gets through "You Say, We Say" remains to be seen, but really hope they get another chance at Roadrunner as I want more from this quality band.
