Review

Big sounding numetal from Florida, this quartet has recorded a full length album to be released soon but in the meantime we just have to settle with this EP
like a small appetizer of what?s to come.
I prefer
this kinda numetal with progressive tendencies just
like Depswa and Born into Kaos aren?t that far behind
in that matter, singer Frank Prevatte doesn?t have the same good voice as Jeremy Penick in Depswa but he?s
pretty good and thank god Frank also do manage to sing through a whole song without doing some growls
that I?m beginning to be real tired of!
The title track and first single from this band is "Nothing wrong" and is ofcourse the best track on this EP,absolutely stunning heavy melodic numetal with sheer class and the axework from Brent Pongetti takes
the song to wuthering heights.
2nd track on this 4 song EP is more ordinary sounding but works just fine and a little extra bonus for the vocal arrangement, but when it gets more progressive in the Depswa vein like on the 3rd song "Life" I fly around
like the spiderman between skyscrapers.....this is what I call intelligent hard rock.
The last song "Falling away" is the weakest one on the EP mostly because of the monotone vocal melody, however it?s not so bad either......Born into Kaos has every chance of doing a complete numetal debut if they only hold on to the best parts from this 4 track CD.

Did you know that?

OneRepublic broke records with their mega-hit "Apologize" when it was released, which became the most legally downloaded song in US digital history.
