Review

After 2 studio albums,it was time for a live recording from worship artist Jeff Deyo - this one was recorded in New Zealand in 2004 and it contains 3 songs taken from the debut "Saturate" and 2 from "Light" plus 5 new songs - "We are hungry","Be lifted up","Jesus I surrender","You are good" and "Nothing less than all of me".
This live album isn?t as polished and over-produced as I expected ,which they normally are these christian records - the sound is a bit rough and huge live sounding just like a live recording should be I think.
Jeff sings utterly well and his radio friendly modern rock works quite good in front of 20,000 people, the first half of the album is better with all the rockers coz the tempo falls a bit at the end with 4 ballads in a row.
The best song of the new ones is "We are hungry",this one is hard to resist.
Good album, however this release is only for the true Deyo fans.

Did you know that?

Neal Schon from Journey originally played guitar for Santana when he was only 15 years old.
