Review

This Virginia based band was formed in 2001 but with a completely different line up and the bandname Solidstate under which they released the EP "Reflections" in 2004,due to confusion surrounding the name "solidstate" and the Tooth and Nail Records imprint Solid State, the band decided it was time for another name change.
The name Forthright was chosen and up to now, they have released 3 albums independently with this 3 track EP as the latest effort - it contains the new song "White noise" plus remakes of older tracks "Fragile" and "Release".
Their style can be described as alternative modern rock with a touch of piano based melancholic pop,the production is ok until the guitars are involved in the picture of sound coz it gets too much of a garage sounding demo over it.
"Fragile" is a song that deserves a better fate than with this poor sound, put down some more effort on the production next time is my advice to these boys coz they can write good stuff.

Did you know that?

Rolling Stone guitarist “Brian Jones” died while swimming laps alone in his pool! A closet health-nut, Jones had “narcolepsy” and fell asleep during his workout.
