Melodic rocknroll from Great Britain, here´s Johnny Panic!
JP is one of many new bands I found in the cool English magazine RockSound, I recommend you all to check it out if you´re into emo, punk, hardcore or metal.
Johnny Panic released their debut "The violent dazzling" in 2005 and recently put out the follow up "The good fight", imagine Jimmy Eat World in a 70´s punkrock suit and you´re close to the sound of Johnny Panic.

This London based quartet features the members Rob Solly - Vocals/Guitar, Johnny Shock - Drums, Sean Mannion - Bass/Vocals and matt James - Guitar/Vocals.
The new album is produced by Chris Sheldon (Biffy Clyro, Therapy?) and it sure is a big budget sound, I am weak for this type of straight ahead rock with a punk-ish vibe almost like a modern melodic version of The Skids.
Songs like "The rebel", "I live for" and the new single "Dislocation" are all irresistable.

Tracklisting 1. Heroes Of Villains
2. The Rebel
3. I Live For
4. The 3rd Degree
5. A World Away
6. This Time
7. M-19
8. Stay
9. Gone
10. I Know That I Know I Just Can't Remember
11. Never Me (Old Friends, New Enemies)
12. Dislocation
13. The End Is Near

Did you know that?

James blunt´s "Goodbye My Lover" was recorded in his slightly insane landlady´s bathroom where the piano was kept.
