Review

23 year old singer/songwriter Jack McManus is a new British artist that really stands out this year. We have written about marvelous albums from Elliot Minor and Royworld already and this guy deserves to be in the same league.
With a charming and happy sounding approach he’s been compared to giants like Elton John, Billy Joel and Ben Folds, which I totally can agree with. Ok, he got a lot to prove to reach to their reputation in the music biz, but to be honest, those majors wasn’t this good on the debut albums.

“Either Side of Midnight” is a fantastic album from start to end with a great line-up of songs. I have to admit that I’m really sold on his mega catchy and classic sound, but it’s the songs here that really stick out. Normally you can find like three or four stand out tracks on an album, but this one is different with hits from the opening “Milky Way” to the final ballad “Amy”. This smells hit for miles and if he won’t get the same attention as Mika and Jason Mraz soon, I would say that something is totally wrong.
So if you if you wanna have a perfect trip to pianopop heave, Jack McManus and his “Either Side of Midnight” is the destination; book him today.
