After 4 studio albums, it was time for Metalcore band Demon Hunter to release their first live record "Live in Nashville".
It´s the same show as the 45 Days Live DVD that came out in November, 2008.
This band sound so much more agressive and raw live compared to the well produced studio albums, I prefer them before this live recording but one can´t deny how tight they are and you can almost touch the energy in this performance.
The band focus on the latest 2 albums "Storm the gates of hell" and "The triptych", they only do one song off the first 2002 album and 2 songs from "Summer of darkness" (2004).
Standout tracks are "Lead us home" and "Undying" where the audience is participating in singing along in the chorus, that sound huge.

Tracklisting 1. Intro / Storm The Gates Of Hell
2. Lead Us Home
3. Ribcage
4. I Am You
5. Carry Me Down
6. Fading Away
7. The Soldier's Song
8. Follow The Wolves
9. Undying
10. Infected
11. Sixteen
12. My Heartstrings Come Undone
13. The Flame That Guides Us Home / Not I
14. Not Ready To Die

Did you know that?

Soul SirkUS drummer Virgil Donati got the question if he was nervous when he auditioned for Dream Theater, -No I was more of a nervous wreck when I auditioned for Steve Perry.
