Review

It´s been a long time waiting for Adelitas Way´s major label debut but it´s finally being released today on July 14th.
Melodic.net already reported back in 2007 about Rick DeJesus as a promising artist and now his band Adelitas Way is making waves in the business.
What´s the buzz all about then? Well, not only is Rick a great singer with a fantastic rock voice, he and his bandmembers has come up with a big modern rock album that rock with a capital R.
Rick with another line up released a self made album back in 2007 that sold 10,000 copies but I thought it could´ve used a few more rockers.
My prayers has been answered, the major part of this 11 track album contains hard hitting rock anthems like the first single and WWE song "Invincible".

Sure, active rock radio will get their share too with power rock ballads like "Last stand" and "Closer to you".
Only "Brother" and "All falls down" from the 2007 album made it onto the new album with a face lift where the re-recordings by producer Johnny K gives new life to the songs.
And do I have to inform you all to purchase the real thing instead of downloading poor sounding webrips that are all over the net, the real CD sound so much better but you know that now don´t you?!
Rick is backed up by Chris Iorio - Guitar, Keith Wallen - Guitar (Copper), Derek Johnston - Bass and Trevor Stafford - Drums.
For fans of Hinder, Nickelback, Copper

Chris
I first heard about this band on melodic.net and I was really impressed! The record contains great rockers like the single "Invincible" and the second title of the album "Scream". The song "Hate Love" is one of my favorites. The slower tracks "All falls down" and "Closer To You" are nice rock ballads. Great new band!

Did you know that?

When the Slits opened up for The Clash in ´77, Joe Strummer taught chords to Ari Up while Mick Jones helped the band tune their instruments.
