Review

This is Super Furry Animals ninth album, if I counted correctly. And the band certainly has an up and down career through the years. Their new album is very digitally and my thoughts goes actually a lot to bands like the Buggles, but with very much more psychadelia mixed into the soundscape. There are a few real pearls on the disc such as the opening track "Crazy Naked Girl" and the very Buggles-fragrant "Inaugural Times" to name two. It becomes too much psychadelia for my taste over a couple of tunes though. They are probably very nice if you smoke weed or something but I don´t (And I hope you don´t do that either..), so they don´t give me that much. But the main part is good for us who like electronica-pop with an indie edge.

Tracklisting 1. Crazy Naked Girls
2. Mt.
3. Moped Eyes

7. The Very Best Of Neil Diamond
8. Helium Hearts

Did you know that?

James Blunt wrote the song "No Bravery" while he was on call in Kosovo.
