Review

Huntington Beach, California-based Runner Runner were the first band to be signed to a joint venture between Capitol Records, Merovingian Music and CE Music, a Subsidiary of David Letterman's Worldwide Pants, Inc. Not a bad start for the band that was really hot in early 2011. But thought that they would do a bit better on the charts with their catchy pop / rock not unlike The Click Five meets Simple Plan. But unfortunately it didn’t happen not that much and unfortunately the album did no better than number 185 on the Billboard chart.

When it comes to the sound I think that the album is somewhat overproduced and too pop orientated. Has a Japanese record, based on the two Ep's they released before and it sounds better with a little rougher and edgier sound.

However, it is charming record worth checking out if you’re into bands like The Cab, Mayday Parade, and We The Kings.

Did you know that?

Drummers Jerry Nolan & Peter Criss both grew up in Williamsburg, Bklyn. The childhood friends auditioned for the Dolls but Nolan got the job.
