Review

This Loud Morning is the third album by American singer-songwriter and American Idol season 7 winner David Cook and it doesn't dissapoint the audience who loves modern rock in a safe costume. Because that is what it is. David sings great and the songwriting is also very good with modern AOR-rock refrains all over. The album is produced by Matt Serletic who've done a very nice job as well. I could complain that the album doesn't have an own identity... I could complain that we've heard it all before... But what the heck - it's such a well done album with very good penned tunes including David Hodges, Ryan Tedder, Kevin Griffin, Jamie Houston, Johnny Rzeznik and Marti Frederiksen among others and a guy who sings really good so why the hell complain?? If you like bands like Live, Daughtry, The Rising and Lifehouse this album is safe as a rock. Real damn proffesional is what it is and a wet dream for all you lovers of a fat production, a really good singer and a bunch of refrains extravaganza.

Did you know that?

While working as a session guitarist in the early 60’s, Jimmy Page played guitar on Tom Jones´ 1965 hit "It´s Not Unusual".
