"AnyMan In America" is Blue October's sixth full-length albums and even their most personal. The lyrics is mostly about frontman Justin Fürstenfeld's divorce and custody battle and there must have been a very tough process. Because he is angry on this album, very very angry and also incredibly disappointed. Is a little surprised that he is so self-disclosure that he is, but obviously it takes the record to a new level. Songs like "The Feel Again (Stay)", "The Worry List" and "Drama Everything" is among the best the band has doen so far and more goodies can be found here. However, I find the sound and production is a bit too pop-oriented and electronically. Would rather have seen a darker and more organic album since it’s very serious and have to say thatthe band does not fit among rap and neat samples. But beyond this is "Any Man In America" a stable and well executed album which of course is worth purchasing if you have their previous ones.
