Matt Webb from Marianas Trench goes solo with his EP "Coda and jacket" but it´s really far soundwise from his band, he shows his love for the 80´s with these 7 songs which can be described as Justin Timberlake on a picnic with Eurythmics. Dance rhythms and 80´s pop melodies where the closest to rock music we get is "Cinnamon", this is a pretty cool song but the others feel rather forgettable. Almost like shopping mall music. The single "Bad girl" is quite catchy but also very average, he might get some airplay with the modern pop-ish "Goodbye addict". That one is more fun than the first choice of a single.
