Is this music right up my alley or what? Sister Hazel, Better Than Ezra, Jump Little Children, Dada, James Blunt? You know the hypes I?ve done for these bands and artists in the past seven years that the melodic net have exist. Bain Mattox is up there playing in the same league. Perfect and well written Midwest rock with the exact right portion of modern powerpop added to the sound. The opening ?Timebomb? starts out the cannonade of songs and second out ?Fine Line? just continues into a minefield of songs and at the last one out ?Closer To Me? Bain reach the destination and target for his mission and grabs a big place in my heart forever. The album will easily have a good place on the mighty Winberg top 2005 list later on this year. Any other songs I must mention that are really good? How about:

?Grace?
?Prizefighter?
?Slowpoke?
?Telegram?
?Shame?
?Tragic Keys?
?Bleeding Me Dry
?City Never Sleeps?.

That means all the other tracks on the album?

And who the hell is the producer John Briglevich? He just delivers a perfect modern Midwest-production as he hasn?t done anything else for his whole life.

"green day" is a slang term for spending a day smoking marajuana. Billie Joe Armstrong wrote a song called "Green Day" about his first experience with the drug, and it soon replaced "Sweet Children" as the band´s name.
