And I?m glad they did because it?s an honour for us to have such a talented band here. I had never heard of them before,I got an email from the guitarist so my expectations weren?t that high. But this is really good! Alternative rock with metal influences ala Faith No More and a dose of jazz here and there is what we got. Edgy and powerful all the time, but never destructive at all. ?Songs from the flesh? is recommendable for several reasons. First of all,these seven songs here are really good. Not made for radio, but really interesting and intelligent made for people that appreciate personal ideas instead of clich?s. Secondly, the vocalist Oscar Demonz is a big benefit for the band with his soulful voice. It?s rare to hear such a good vocalist! Another reason why I recommend these guys is that I like their ideas of writing songs. They have a very personal sound that is both hard and melodic, made in a progressive package. Very cool! So if you want some unique and personal,I can really recommend these guys from Gothenburg. This is a band to watch out for!
