Comments:We find Arizona based Thousand Yard Stare somewhere between the modern rock of Vertical Horizon/Dishwalla and the dreamlike pop of Longview/PaloAlto with a touch of Britpop,especially the guitars has that smell of the British islands where bands like U2 and Coldplay comes in mind.
This album could be filed under alternative rock as well as modern rock,but that?s not the important thing here coz what I like most about reviewing is when the music speaks to me and TYS manages to make their songs come alive.
They?ve got a warm sound that will take the listener through different moods just like how a movie can move you from sadness to happiness and excitement,this is a band that should support huge bands around the world so people oughta see how classy the indie market really is.
