Swedish melodic metal band Cloudscape is back with a their 3rd studio album. After their debut album 2005 and the 2nd Crimson Skies (2006) they have got a good reputation. This new album won�t change that because if you have their 2 first albums then you will also love their new one . They can really deliver heavy songs but still get it to sound damn melodic. Mike Andersson has a strong and powerful voice that reminds of Russel Allan (Symphony X) and Tony Martin (Black Sabbath).
So if you have missed them before and are into Symphony X, Royal Hunt and Dream Theater then this is your cup of progressive metal. Just listen to the melodic Cloak & Dagger�s with great riffs and pompish keyboards.
Paid In Blood is a heavy track with a more melodic chorus, good song.

The Silence Within is a highlight of the album with a great battle between guitars and keyboards and the strong chorus with good background vocals. Yet again. Pontus Lindmark and Anders �Theo� Theander has handled the production with a first class result because this album sounds huge.
I think the length of this album is a bit long with a running time over 67 minutes, it could have been shorter.
Alagoas is a nice epic mid-tempo song that�s over 8 minutes long with some brilliant parts and lovely melodies that reminds a little of House Of Shakira.

If you're into long songs then check out Eyes Of Jealousy with a great twist and turns and it never gets boring, fantastic song.
Global Drama is a great progressive metal album that shows that Cloudscape is a band you can trust because they deliver the right stuff and it's called Global Drama.
