TXS is a new band out of Norway that features 3 members from the first version of Hush. This is their debut album and they deliver melodic rock/AOR in the same school as Stage Dolls, Hush and Def Leppard (X album).
The singer Dag Aspen has a great raspy voice that suits their music just perfect.

The album opens up strong with Who Will You Run To that could have come from Hush's debut album, a great melodic rocker with a catchy chorus. Next up is Chameleon Man that reminds of Stage Dolls at their peak and the chorus is brilliant with lovely melodies and harmonies. Too bad that rest of the tracks don’t have the same quality, because the songs don’t have the same hooks and melodies as on the two opening tracks.

They do a nice cover of Def Leppard's Unbelievable. There are a couple of average songs that takes down the grade and songs like Rat Trap and Bad Reputation don’t fit in here, just boring.
Breathe You Out is a nice pop-rocker. They round off the album with the beautiful ballad Stay that has some Bon Jovi resemblances. Kenneth E Christiansen (Hush) has done a good and tight production. A solid album that starts very promising but has a couple of songs that feels out of place and don’t come up to the same level as Hush's debut album but still good one.

Gin Blossoms is slang for the "blossoms" (burst blood capillaries) on the face particularly the nose from drinking too much alcohol - in the late 1800s gin was a popular cheap alcoholic drink.
